Principal Now Requiring Drop Ticket for Most Term Cases

Beginning April 1, 2021, Principal’s excellent drop ticket system must be used for all Term application submissions up to the maximum applicable Accelerated Underwriting face amount ($3 million for issue ages 18-40; $2.5 million for issue ages 41 and older). Note: Paper applications will NOT be accepted where drop ticket is required.

Principal’s online drop ticket system is quick, easy and in many cases will not require an exam for qualifying candidates when combined with their Accelerated Underwriting system.

Submitting a life insurance app with Principal is now faster and easier than ever! You can complete a Principal application with no paperwork using the online iGO drop-ticket process which is available for all term cases, all ages and all face amounts. You can run a quote and electronically submit a life insurance interview request by completing basic client data, with a step-by-step wizard guiding you the entire way. Once your request has been submitted, the client will complete the application online or over the phone. A fully completed application packet is emailed to the client for electronic signature and then submitted to underwriting for review.

Effective March 29th, Pacific Life Insurance adjusted rates for their PL Promise Term product for all states except NY. Cases that are issued (for delivery) through May 28, 2021 automatically receive the better of the old and new PL Promise Term rates. No request is necessary. This date provides a 60-day transition from their new rate launch date. Cases that are issued after this date receive the new PL Promise Term rates.
