Changes to Asset-Care LTC Premiums in California Effective July 25th

Effective July 25th, OneAmerica is making the following changes to their Asset-Care LTC product n California:

  • New, generally increased Continuation of Benefits (COB) rates will apply.
  • Base policy premiums PEC will be reduced.

All applications and 1035 paperwork must be received by the Home Office by close of business on July 24th.

EMSI Update from Prudential

Due to the sudden closure of EMSI, effective Tuesday, July 7th, the FastApp program has been suspended. To prevent any potential delays, please discontinue selecting EMSI as your requested vendor on your Agent’s Report or any worksheets to ensure your cases are being handled as intended. We recommend submitting business via Prudential's PruXpress Worksheet process and selecting eInterview, which allows all eligible cases to be considered through Prudential’s PruFast Track accelerated underwriting program.

EMSI Update from Securian

Please note Securian has temporarily suspended their term drop ticket as they work with APPS to take over the tele-interview completion.

Life insurance, like any financial asset, should be reviewed on a regular basis to make sure it is still meeting clients’ objectives. One of the most important functions we can perform is to monitor if clients’ life insurance policies are still applicable given their current financial and future goals.
