Life Insurance Awareness Month is observed every September, yet some question its usefulness. Everyone is aware of life insurance, right? That may be true, but not everyone is aware of what our advisors actually do or the broad range of services and valuable consultation we in this industry offer. 

Suggestions to Raise Awareness within your client base:

Ask questions instead of selling: Start your communications with provocative questions such as:

  • Have you thought about how you’d pay for long term care if that need ever came up?
  • Does your life insurance include benefits you can use BEFORE you die?  
  • Are your beneficiaries still in line with your wishes?

Social Media: Don’t be shy mentioning life insurance even in your personal social media. Many of the best leads come from family, friends and referrals. We have a number of graphics and links that are appropriate to share with consumers.
